Recent Reads 2025

Welcome to Recent Reads 2025, a post where I share a bunch of the comics I’ve read, well, recently! These posts are sent out to my newsletter subscribers once or twice a month, so if you’d like to receive this in your inbox, subscribe to my newsletter!

I also try to share mini comics I read online because there are so many amazing cartoonists out there!

Issue 30

We opened up for a final round of submissions for the Cartoonist Co-op’s upcoming Nib + Ink Fest 2025, and I got to read so many more wonderful comics! I think we had around 34-35 submissions, so there was quite a lot to read in just a couple of weeks!!

Here’s a comics anthology I was able to squeeze in between reading all those subs. This one includes a comics from Cartoonist Cooperative members.

I’ve been on a mission recently to find more comics suitable for younger kiddos for one of my nieces, and I was very pleased to come across Avery and the Fairy Circle and Spring Cakes for her current age. They’re so cute, and I love all the colors used in them. I can’t wait to give them to her later this year!
